Five Make Up Essentials
To Make You Look Gorgeous On The Beach
Author: Janet Martin
When people think of a summer trip to the beach, many would
always think of how they would lose weight and how to make
their arms, butts and thighs more toned. In fact, many women
start lifting weights and exercising a few months before summer.
So, if you think that you will all be set up and ready for
the summer just by preparing your beach clothes, accessories,
footwear and swimsuits, then you are wrong.
If you want to be dazzling on the beach, you need to think
about how your skin is going to look when exposed to public
view. Here are some makeup essentials you need on your trip
for a completely sexy and gorgeous look on the beach.
Self Tanning Spray
One of the reasons why people go to the beach is to have
bronze-colored skin. So why do you have to bring a tanning
spray with you? Well, you need it so that you won't be going
out on the beach looking pasty and pale.
Although you can have a tan in a tanning salon or you can
sun bathe on your backyard before your summer trip, these
two alternatives will also expose your skin to harmful UV
rays. Thus, doing a self-tan will achieve your goal of looking
sun-kissed without actually harming your skin. However, please
do not overdo it because you don't want to look like over-baked
bread.
Foundation
If you want to look flawless, you need to bring foundation
to hide some of your blemishes. Just make sure that you do
not apply too much of it because you do not want to look like
a geisha on water. Choose a foundation that is waterproof
and one that could give you a sheer luminous glow. You do
not need to apply it all around your face. Just dabbing a
little on the apples of your cheeks or around the eye area
is enough to give you the coverage you need.
Blush
For a rosy glow, you will need to bring some blush on makeup.
It
would be better if you chose the liquid or cream variety because
it would look natural in a harsh environment such as the beach.
To make sure that the color stays in place even when you take
a dip, be sure to look for the waterproof variety. Again,
you have to restrain yourself from putting too much. The goal
of beach makeup is subtlety.
Eyeliner
Please do not go on a beach with Cleopatra-inspired eyes.
Eyeliner is a good makeup to bring along, but it should be
thinly applied to achieve a more natural look. Dark brown
or charcoal shades will be a good choice. Lastly, to prevent
looking like a raccoon, choose waterproof eyeliner. Just be
sure to bring your eye makeup remover with you because it
would be hard to remove with just plain soap and water.
Lip Tint
Instead of a lipstick, you should opt to use a lip tint for
the beach. The sheer and shimmering variety is ideal. And
it would be so much better if you find one that has an SPF
of 15 or higher.
All these makeup could really help make you look gorgeous
even when you are under the sun. However, you should not forget
that no amount of makeup could replace soft and blemish-free
skin.
Thus, you should never forget to bring moisturizers. If you
are already over 30, you need to choose one that is specifically
designed for maturing skin. One skin product that can help
minimize wrinkles, fine lines, and other effects of skin aging
is Dermaxin. Know more about it by visiting http://www.dermaxin.com/.
